Tapa is usually played as a series of games so the first to start has already been established by the last game. Rule differences include not being able to hit opponent pieces, only pin them to place by moving on there position and also like the above variations, there is no doubling. This version is played as a series of games and is suitable for a more seasoned player in internet backgammon.
